VARIETIES OF WATER MELONS

In Escrig Hermanos, the harvesting of water melons starts in April. The season starts with the varieties from Almeria. Water melons are then brought from Seville, and the last ones come from Castilla la Mancha during the month of September.
Black water melons: Their skin is dark green and their flesh is red. They can be with or without seeds.
White water melons: Their skin is light green and they can also be with or without seeds.
Striped water melons: The easiest to eat because they do not have any seeds. It is a very tasty variety.
